The brief for this college project asked for a brand and logo, along with an iPad app, to educate and inform people about the benefits of ecotourism.
EVOLUTION OF A LOGO
The first logo concept involved creating the iconic Scottish saltire using grass blades. Creating a realistic shape for the blades proved challenging using digital references, so the final product was created using real grass blades. Over time, the logo evolved to ditch this concept, and instead use a more subtle line pattern. The logo is enclosed in a circle giving it a badge design - travelling on a sustainable holiday is an achievement, something you can earn.
